Modena – 4 November 2022
Dissemination event on Artificial Intelligence for society and digital humanities promoted by UNIMORE within the AIforDH project – Artificial Intelligence for Digital Humanities – funded by Fondazione di Modena and AGO Modena Fabbriche Culturali.
In recent years, Intelligence, whether natural or artificial, and Humanities, both meant as the humanistic formulation of knowledge and as the highest aspiration of our society, are expressed within the digital paradigm through multimodal interactions and models for analysis, understanding, and generation of knowledge.
In this context, the Digital Humanities field merges with Information Technologies, especially thanks to the advances provided by Artificial Intelligence, whose cognitive models are – and must be – designed for humans, both as individuals and a collectivity.
These themes will be discussed in the Humanities & Intelligence event, with scientific talks by distinguished researchers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence for cultural heritage and social challenges, workshops for STEM orientation of young talents, and conversations on the digital revolution connoting our society.

The event is organized by UNIMORE (AIRI, DhMoRe), Fondazione di Modena, AGO Modena Fabbriche Culturali,
in collaboration with Future Education Modena and Modena City of Media Arts
